This year we had a jam packed and fun Easter weekend. On Friday we spent the day branding and vaccinating. It was a busy and exhausting day but we had a good time. This poor calf must be frightened out of its mind. Six people standing around staring at me would freak me out! Really....how many people does it take to brand? :)
The two goons making faces would be my siblings :)
We tried to get Morgan to bottle feed a calf. She would have none of that. But Preston stepped up for awhile.
On Saturday we went to our Easter lunch and egg hunt. My mom's side of the family does this every year! It's my most favorite holiday ever! We always go to a random place where there are cool things to see. This year it was a waterfall! It was a short hike back from the camping spot and totally worth the short walk.
After a hot dog roast and stuffing out faces with lots of yummy food we had an Easter egg hunt. Best Easter egg hunt ever! All the eggs have candy and money in them. Plus, they all have a number that correlates to a certain prize. Morgan scored some stuffed animals, a ball, nerf balls, jump rope, baton, and some other fun things to play with. Also, we have a golden egg which holds $5 for the little kids and $10 for the big kids. Bookoo bucks! :) They also started the number 1 egg. Which only has a penny in it but your prize is a big bag of pennies! There were like $8 in it this year. Anyways, I think we have the coolest Easter egg hunt ever! Here are some pics of Morgan and J hunting for eggs.
On Sunday, the Easter bunny had brought Morgan lots of fun things. A ball to play with outside in her new backyard, a swimsuit for this summer, some more clothes, Beauty and the Beast, a cartoon church movie, another stuffed bunny, and lots of Easter candy.
Morgan was doubly spoiled this year. We ended up at Grandpa and Grandma Andrus' house for Easter dinner. They also had an Easter egg hunt for all the kids.
Super cute pics and I have to say I'm in love with that family pic of the 3 of you. You look gorgeous!
