On the Road Again

Jason was out of town for a whole week the beginning of May, so instead of bumming around at home Morgan and I packed up with Lindsey and Brooke and headed down to Kuna for a few days. We enjoyed visiting family, doing a little work with the cattle, and having some fun.
We got to visit Papa and Grandmama and play at their house. Morgan loved the swing and tramp and smelling all the pretty flowers.

We went down right at the time that the Kuna FFA was doing their Ag Expo. They have different animals, plants, machinery, etc., for the kids to learn about. Of course this was a big hit for Morgan. She loved seeing all the animals and petting them. We went on a fun hay ride, saw fishy's, watched a movie, and we even got some yummy chocolate ice cream which Morgan decorated her face with. It was fun to be back in my old stomping grounds. Way back when, when I was a Junior in High School I was in charge of this activity. Boy was that a busy week!

It was so nice to just relax and enjoy some time with my fam and little girl. It was so touching to watch her excitement at all things farm. She's so my little girl! She loved going to my parents chicken coop every afternoon to gather the eggs the chickens had laid, and to pull weeds to feed to them. She loved watching the baby calf bottle feed, and petting the horsey's. We even got to meet up with my cousin's and spend some time together eating and watching the kids play together. And the last night, by brother, sister, and I all took a little trip to the movie theater to watch The Hunger Games. It was so nice to be together, just the three of us again. But after a long week, Morgan and I were so happy to see Jason. We sure missed him and oh how we love him lots!
